    John Rittenhouse is the Chief Executive of EDF Trading and EDF Trading North America. Supported by the executive team, he is responsible for the development and implementation of EDF Trading’s strategy in its role as the wholesale market interface for the EDF Group and its third party customers. Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive in July 2008, he has held the roles of Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer. He joined EDF Trading at its inception in 1998 and was appointed to the Board of Directors in April 2006. John has an MBA from Fordham University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

    Justin Rowland is Chief Financial and Risk Officer at EDF Trading.  Prior to that, he was Chief Commercial Officer responsible for EDFT's trading activities. He joined in May 2001 as Head of Risk Management and succeeded John Rittenhouse as Chief Financial Officer in April 2005. He became Chief Operating Officer in September 2008. In January 2010 Justin took on the additional responsibility of head of front office risk management. He has a first class BEng in Aeronautics and is a Chartered Accountant.

    Chief Commercial Officer, Origination and Business Development

    Philipp Büssenschütt is Chief Commercial Officer responsible for EDF Trading's global mid-marketing/flow, origination and new business development. He joined EDF Trading in 2002 and in 2009 moved to Houston as Head of Origination and Business Development for EDF Trading in North America. He was appointed to the Executive Committee and became Global Head of Origination in January 2010 and assumed his current role in October 2013. Philipp has an MSc in mining engineering and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

    General Counsel

    Robert Quick is the General Counsel for EDF Trading. He joined in January 2002 as Assistant General Counsel and became General Counsel in May 2005. In April 2010 Robert took on the additional responsibility of Managing Director of EDF Trading North America, based in Houston. He relocated back to London and resumed his current position in March 2011. He is a graduate of Pembroke College, Cambridge and is a solicitor.

    Head of Group Integration

    Frédéric Mayoux is Head of Group Integration at EDF Trading.  He joined in July 2015 from EDF Energy where he was Director of Optimisation.  Frédéric has been involved with EDF for the past 27 years.  He has held a number of roles in the optimisation and trading function, supporting the EDF Group expansion in Europe, structuring agreements with major counterparts and managing the commercial activities of EDF SA's long term power contracts. He is graduate from IEP Paris and holds a Masters in Law.

    Mary Anne Brelinsky

    Managing Director, EDF Trading North America and President, EDF Energy Services

    Mary Anne Brelinsky joined EDF Trading in 2006.  As well as being Managing Director of EDF Trading North America, she is President, EDF Energy Services, the North American retail and asset management business within the EDF Trading group, a role she assumed in 2013.  Former roles within EDF Trading have included Head of Retail for Gas and Power and Head of North American Power Origination.  She is a Board Member of the Gulf Coast Power Association and the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce.  She also serves on the Advisory Council for the Women’s Energy Network and the University of Houston Energy Advisory Board. Mary Anne has an engineering degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University of Houston.

    Interim President, EDF Trading North America

    Jeff Johnson is interim President, EDF Trading North America, a position he assumed in June 2017.  Jeff is also Executive Advisor to the Chief Executive of EDF Trading as well as a Board Member of the EDF Group’s CENG nuclear generation joint venture with Exelon.  Jeff was one of the founding members of EDF Trading in 1999 and has been involved in a number of business development activities over the years in London, Paris and Houston.

    Marcello Romano

    Head of Trading, Europe

    Marcello Romano is Head of Trading, Europe at EDF Trading, a position he assumed in January 2016.  He joined the company in April 2011 as Head of Flow Trading focused on developing the flow business and extending EDFT's services in the longer-term market. He became Head of European Gas and Flow Trading in June 2014 leading the company's European gas trading activities. He graduated from Strathclyde University and holds an LLB (Hons) in Law. Marcello also has an ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

    John Grey is Head of European Power Trading at EDF Trading. John has held a number of roles at EDF Trading since joining the company in 2002 including Power Scheduler, Power Trader, Head of UK Power, Head of Gas Basis Trading and Head of European Gas. He assumed his current role in June 2014. John has an MENG in Mechanical Engineering from Bristol University.

    Morgane Trieu-Cuot is Head of Flexibility Optimisation (Derivatives Trading) at EDF Trading.  Morgane first joined EDF Trading in 2004 as a Cross Commodity Derivatives Trader and spent over 10 years helping to develop our flexible asset services.  She rejoined in 2016 to assume her current role.   Morgane graduated from the ISC Business School in Paris with a Masters in Finance, Taxation and Law.

    Head of Power and Gas Trading, North America

    Stan Horton is Head of North American Power and Gas Trading at EDF Trading.  Stan joined EDF Trading in 2009 as Vice President of Northeast Gas Trading.  In 2013, Stan was named Senior Vice President and his responsibilities were expanded to include Gas and Power trading. Before joining EDFT, Stan was head of the East Natural Gas trading team for Citigroup Global Commodities. Stan’s prior experience spans more than 23 years including senior trading and marketing roles with various gas trading companies and producers active in North America. Stan is a 1986 graduate of Texas Tech University.
